研究主題
 
本研究室之研究主軸分為兩大方向:() 本土性人畜共通寄生蟲病之致病機轉及治療。() 伺機性感染之寄生蟲病研究。研究內容以蛋白分解酵素系統(proteolytic enzyme system)為作用中心,探討下游酵素系統與寄生蟲引起之中樞神經系統異常(例如腦膜炎、腦膜腦炎、浦金氏細胞喪失、神經脫髓鞘)及臟器肉芽腫性纖維化之關係,並探討上游活化此酵素系統之訊息傳遞路徑,藉由瞭解這些寄生蟲病之致病機轉,進一步找到預防及治療的方法。
